The Vision
The inspiration for Redeemed and Equipped Ministries came from a ladies' retreat weekend in Fall 2022. Our founder, Melanie Kaiser, had invited a small group of ladies to attend a conference in south central Texas and to spend the weekend at an air b&b country home. Each participant was so positively impacted by that weekend that two of the ladies felt called to build a ministry specifically for women to come together for a time of fellowship, rest, and spiritual rejuvenation. Immediately, those two ladies got busy preparing for their vision by furthering their ministry education. Shanta Evans obtained her SOZO certification in March 2023; and Melanie completed her Master of Arts in Christian Ministry in December 2023. With the completion of each of their individual pursuits, both ladies knew that God had prepared them for not only their retreat ministry but for much more.
Since that time, both ladies have obediently followed the Lord's leading in bringing forth the vision and mission of the ministry in their respective communities. They have considered every endeavor to be an opportunity for spiritual growth and equipping. Shanta has continued to be a teacher of the Gospel in her church, local community, and surrounding areas. She has been a conference guest speaker, and has used her SOZO training to minister healing to others. Melanie authored and published her first book in 2022, and has continued to be a voice in her community and online. She leads a women's small group in her home and recently launched her Bible teaching podcast respectively titled Redeemed and Equipped.
The mission of Redeemed and Equipped Ministries is to offer a resource that satisfies the growing need for sound Biblical discipleship in the Christian community while being sensitive to the necessity for a safe space to work through unique challenges and/or past traumas. This mission will be accomplished by providing online Bible teachings, making personal connections, multiplying local group gatherings, providing resources for specific topics, helping people connect to local churches, and offering annual Soul Rise retreats. Redeemed and Equipped desires for every person to walk in the full redemption only found in Jesus Christ and to be confidently equipped to carry forth the hope of the Gospel message.
Our faith statement
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only hope for humanity. We believe that every person can find redemption through the saving grace and lordship of Jesus Christ. No one is beyond God's gift of grace, and no circumstance is beyond God's healing power. By repenting of one's sins and fully embracing the Truth of Scripture as the only way to live a redemptive life, one is equipped for discipleship.
